Today, men and women are increasingly struggling to retain their youth. One way of doing this is by having facelift surgery. A facelift consist of removing surplus skin to make the face look younger, or at least attempt to make it look younger. Age, that dreaded trait inherent in all humans, is something that cannot be avoided if we are going to live from one year to the next. It creeps up on us all and as it does, the face begins to lose its elasticity and develops droopy skin, muscle tone, and suppleness. Facelift surgery alone may not be enough. So many new procedures are revealed continuously, such as feather lifts and deep plane lifts, that having facelift surgery has become less painful and invasive.
How Facelift Surgery is Performed
The most common Denver facelift surgery is carried out through an incision beginning at the hairline to the front of the temporal area. With the utmost care, skin and fatty tissue are lifted from the core muscle and connective tissue as far frontward as is needed to right the extra skin problem. The lesion is then closed with skin staples and sutures; in a somewhat Frankenstein fashion. To secure a healthy healing, bandages are applied. However, facelift surgery is meant to beautify not create monsters, even though “monster” is the term used for a number of facelift surgery results. In all fairness, facelift surgery leaves an individual in such a state, that if anyone did such a horrible thing to them without their permission, they would be jailed!
